This policy applies to orders sold by Border Hardware Ltd trading as BH Safetywear. We hope you are happy with your order. If you change your mind, the following returns process applies.

Change-of-mind returns

You must tell us that you wish to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. After telling us, you must send the goods back within a further 14 days.

To start a return, email sales@bhsafetywear.co.uk or call 01450 370907. Please provide your name, order number and the item you wish to return.

Condition of returned goods

Items should be returned unworn, unused, clean and in a resalable condition, with their original packaging and tags where reasonably possible. Footwear should only be tried on indoors.

You may examine an item in the same way that you reasonably could in a shop. We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the item’s nature, characteristics and fit.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying the return postage. We recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage, as the goods remain your responsibility until they reach us.

Refunds

Once the returned goods have been received and checked, we will issue the refund to the original payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that they have been sent, whichever happens first.

Eligible refunds will include the price paid for the returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional amount paid for express or premium delivery will not be refunded.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or satisfactory evidence that they have been sent back.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, not as described or is not the item you ordered, please contact us before returning it. Where the goods do not meet your statutory rights, we will provide the appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs where required by law.

Business customers

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right generally applies to consumer purchases. Returns by businesses or trade customers are subject to prior agreement with us.

Your legal rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
