These terms apply to purchases made from BH Safetywear at bhsafetywear.co.uk. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Border Hardware Ltd trading as BH Safetywear.

Products and prices

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Product colours can vary slightly between screens. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before payment.

Ordering and payment

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the goods shown in your basket. The automatic order acknowledgement confirms that we received your order; acceptance takes place when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, information is incorrect, payment is not authorised or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the amount paid.

Availability

Stock information is updated regularly but occasional discrepancies can occur. If an item is unavailable, we will contact you and offer an alternative where appropriate or issue a refund.

Delivery

BH Safetywear delivers to United Kingdom addresses only. Delivery charges and estimated times are displayed before payment. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Full information is set out in our Shipping Policy.

Cancellations and returns

Consumers normally have 14 days after receiving goods to tell us they wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return them. Full instructions, conditions and refund information are in our Returns & Refunds Policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrect, contact us promptly. We will provide the remedy required by UK consumer law and cover reasonable return costs where required.

Safety information

Safety markings and product information are provided to help you choose. You are responsible for checking that an item is suitable for the intended task and your workplace risk assessment. Our Safety Ratings Explained page is guidance only; always check the certification and specification for the individual product.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under consumer law.
